Lanka Comic Con costs millions.  

There are no more millions.

There are only two ways to do Lanka Comic Con. Sustainably or Heavily Sponsored.

When Lanka Comic Con was heavily sponsored, it could afford two-day events, big stages, and most of all air-conditioned spaces.

Now however, no one is spending that kind of sponsorship money. Worse, those venues and services now cost almost twice as much.

Lanka Comic Con is a non-profit. We’re not interested in charging attendees and ticket holders through the roof to make up the difference. We never have been.

So instead, Lanka Comic Con is going back to a sustainable model we last used in 2016.

What will a Sustainable Lanka Comic Con be like?

• No air conditioning.

• One day only.

• The same or lower prices.

This is Lanka Comic Con Lite.

The no air conditioning is the big one. The Women’s International Club has natural shade, open space, and lots of air circulation. However, we advise cosplayers to expect hot weather and to plan their cosplays with their comfort and safety in mind.
